ERROR 500 INTERNAL SERVER

Hello engineers and enthusiasts, I have since yesterday a problem with wordpress when using Xampp as Localhost. I was working very well when the program collapsed and I delivered the following message.

Server error!
The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there was an error in the CGI script.
If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

I was looking at various sites on the internet and some probe without getting a favorable result, I NEED uregncia to continue working and if anyone could help me I would appreciate it very much.

That is the error. Somehow invalid statement in .htaccess file from wordpress. Either edit that file and fnd out what is wrong, or ask in a wordpress forum.

P.S.: Why did you choose that extremely strange folder for wordpress installation? You put it to c:/xampp/htdocs/xampp/wordpress, why did you insert "xampp" folder there?? That results in a very strange URL http://localhost/xampp/wordpress. You should not put wordpress there. Maybe this also causes your problem.
