I am sure this is an easy fix, but I am quite a layman.
The MySQL module is disabled

I, too have a similar issue with starting Xampp; however, my issue envolves around getting and 'Admin account' setup/configured, but I see no suggested results for the above post;

Stop and Disable the "World Wide Web Publishing Service" under services. Then START "Apache" in XAMPP Control Panel.

didn't work for me as well.. tried running the control panel as Administrator.
OS: Windows10
XAMPP: XAMPP Version: 7.1.7
Control Panel Version: 3.2.2

managed to get it working.

i have to install it in C:\xampp. I guess i ran into privilege issues deeper into subfolders.
