Apache won't start

Postby Kaspar7 » 02. July 2017 15:58

I've configured xampp -> httpd.conf to Listen: 85 and http-ssl.conf to Listen: 445 already. There is no IIS listed in Services
Apache and MySQL are set to Auto-start in XAMPP Control Panel config.

Here's the console output when I start XAMPP:

I get thiese errors in a browser (Chrome) window when I type in "localhost":
localhost refused to connect.

Any suggestions are welcome! I've tried installing WAMP without success. Ditto Apache alone. Removed them and now I'm trying to get WAMPP working. Pretty frustrating!

You changed the default Ports for Apache, so you need to append that new port to every URL.
http://localhost:85

Thanks! I wish someone of the people who suggested changing the port had mentioned that; I would have been up and running yesterday if I'd known this. Well, at least it's working now. :)
