Website can't be reached

Hello,

I'm using your XAMPP software, it's really very nice application for Apache friend. But currently i facing a complicated problem with XAMPP. After installation i can't use a specific website that is www.dailymotion.com i don't know why, when i enter the website on Google Chrome browser it's showing locally like http://localhost. Now, please give me solution urgently. Thank you

You probably have an entry for www.dailymotion.com in your Windows hosts file. Its not a Xampp issue, Xampp does not resolve URIs to IPs, Xampp simply listens on your local IP with Port 80.

I tried after windows re-installation, but problem is same.

a) What happens, when you enter "ping www.dailymotion.com" in a terminal? Which IP is shown?

b) What is shown in the terminal, if you enter "ipconfig"?

I don't know, but after XAMPP installation i can't visit http://www.dailymotion.com site.

If you dont help me, i dont help you. I cannot help you if dont answer my questions. I can tell you for sure, that Xampp IS NOT THE PROBLEM. The problem is somewhere else.
