Hi there,

just installed Xampp 5.6.30 to set up a WordPress application on my pc. When entering http://localhost/wordpress/wp-admin/ I get the error message

Error 500
localhost
Apache/2.4.25 (Win32) OpenSSL/1.0.2j PHP/5.6.30

Apache error logs shows:
C:/xampp/htdocs/wordpress/.htaccess: Either all Options must start with + or -, or no Option may.

Where do I go from here?

I would fix the .htaccess file.
