Hello.
I did a few wordpress websites on xampp and now they showing all the same error.

1- one of them is totally out of order, so it seems a database error but last time i checked it was fine and i didn't touch it anymore.
2- all the other websites show the same error:
Warning: require(C:\xampp\htdocs\*foldername*/wp-includes/post.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\xampp\htdocs\*foldername*\wp-settings.php on line 167
Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required 'C:\xampp\htdocs\*foldername*/wp-includes/post.php' (include_path='C:\xampp\php\PEAR') in C:\xampp\htdocs\*foldername*\wp-settings.php on line 167

Can you please tell me what can i do to open those websites and recover them because i really need them.

Thanks in advance.
Regards.

Hi,

So, who put this *foldername* in the path?

best wishes,
Altrea

That is exactly what i wanted to know.
Anyways, it is not the best idea to mask the only helpful message that can help us to help you.

The error message is very clear. PHP cannot find or access files. Which files in which folders and if they are present and accessible for Apache can only be clear for you.
We don't have that information.

Maybe you touched the configuration!? Or your files gets lost on some mysterious ways?
XAMPP don't delete any of your files so i don't see how this could be a XAMPP problem.

If this is a configuration problem, correct the configuration.
If this is a data constistence problem, maybe the only solution would be to restore a backup of your files and/or data.
