I am running Apache as admin on Windows 10, version 3.2.2 on port 8080 and 443. When I press "Start" I get the message:
Attempting to start Apache service...
Executing "net start Apache2.4"
Return code: 0
Then nothing happens. I try localhost on the browser and get 404 error. What am I doing wrong?

remove the windows service and try to start again.
Provide the full control panel log and Apache error.log
