Hi everybody,
The installation of Xampp was easy, but after that it was difficult. But I managed to import my existing wp site and database.
The problem I have now is that when I go to localhost/blog it immediately redirects to my external https site.
I already removed the .htaccess file and the code of Really Simple SSL from the wp-config file, but that didn’t help.
So I can’t access my site locally and I can therefore also not access the wp-admin to edit my site locally.
What can I do?

I don't think that works to use my live site locally.
After a lot of reading I think it is much too complicated, so I will leave it.
