Greetings,
I am a new user and I have just installed Xampp and cannot get it to run. This is the error messages I get in my control Panel.

Apache Service detected with wrong path
1:27:17 PM [Apache] Change XAMPP Apache and Control Panel settings or
1:27:17 PM [Apache] Uninstall/disable the other service manually first
1:27:17 PM [Apache] Found Path: "C:\Users\entooinc\Desktop\xampp\apache\bin\httpd.exe" -k runservice

1:27:17 PM [mysql] MySQL Service detected with wrong path
1:27:17 PM [mysql] Change XAMPP MySQL and Control Panel settings or
1:27:17 PM [mysql] Uninstall/disable the other service manually first
1:27:17 PM [mysql] Found Path: C:\Users\entooinc\Desktop\xampp\mysql\bin\mysqld.exe --defaults-file=c:\users\entooinc\desktop\xampp\mysql\bin\my.ini mysql

how do I change the path? is that what is wrong?

You obviously installed Xampp at least twice (one of these into your desktop, what a pain!!), but did not uninstall it correctly, instead installed it again and now your windows registry is rubbish and windows services are pointing to invalid paths. Well done, why didnt you tell us about?
