Hi,

Is there an update soon ?
These components have some serious bugfix updates

PHP 7.1.1
Mariadb 10.1.21
PhpMyAdmin 4.6.6

No. Bugfixes are by far not that important on a local test and development environment. If keeping all components on their most recent version is one of your requirements you are totally wrong with a local test and development webserver stack.

I take your point and I agree you can't be pushing out updates every five minutes.
But actually XAMPP very is very good on this and there has been so much talk of the memory leaks fixed in the PHP GD2 lib.

There are always bugs in every version. Bitnami will release a new XAMPP version when it's done. if this will include a PHP 7.1 version or not i don't know.
It is your choice, either wait patiently for a new XAMPP release or install and configure the components on your own.
XAMPP is a free bundle. You are free to use it, but there is no guarantee for any new releases or features.
