Change address entered at click of MySql Admin

is there a way to change the address entered into the browser upon clicking the Admin button for the MySQL module in the XAmmp control panel ? I have had to use the documented workaround involving changing the port to 8080 and the address automaticaly entered now, localhost/phpmyadmin,doesnt work.

The control panel does have a configuration menu where you need to adjust the ports too.
