Error - Connection Refused

Postby keval » 12. December 2016 07:15

I have got a domain have put my website on the domain by DNS and IP or whatever it is called. When I try to open it with other devices, i.e. My tablet, or a Mobile, It says just like below:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The site can't be reached
website.my refused to connect.
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What's the fault? Can I get a solution? Is it because fault is in domain? Or fault is in any of the configuration files?

Usually it means, that there is no server listening on website.my. This can have different reasons, for example the DNS Entry for website.my points to an invalid IP. Or it points to the correct IP, but there is no Apache listening. Or, there is an Apache listening, but a firewall comes inbetween and prohibits a connection. Unfortunately, i dont understand what you mean by "I have got a domain have put my website on the domain by DNS and IP or whatever it is called. ". You should explain more precisely, what you are doing and what you are trying.

BUT: i checked website.my on myself and simply entered http://website.my into my browser - it does NOT refuse the connection, it get a connection, but it is also an error, it says "Server Error - 403 Forbidden Access". But this is by far better than "Connection refused", this means that website.my is assigned to a valid IP ("ping" in a terminal says, that it is connected to 202.9.106.22), there is a server up and running, there is an Apache listening, but the server configuration denies access to the DocumentRoot. Did you change anything meanwhile?

A "ping http://www.kevalvijaybhaip.tk" in a terminal shows up 127.0.0.1 as IP for http://www.kevalvijaybhaip.tk - that is totally crazy as 127.0.0.1 is localhost. I dont know what you did and how you did it, but this is the reason for your problem. You assigned a completely nonsense IP.

P.S.: As i see on your Google drive, you really assigned 127.0.0.1 to your domain name. This is pure nonsense!
