We don't provide any support via personal channels like PM, email, Skype, TeamViewer!

It's like porn for programmers 8)

Good day Altrea, thank you so much will try the solutions supplied and get back to you ASAP. I also did a ping to the 192.168.98.10 address and did not receive a reply. I will contact our network technician to see why this is the case. Once again thank you for the prompt response.

I dont understand what is meant by that?! Could you explain more precisely?

Anyway, Xampp cannot listen to IPs which are not assigned to the PC where Xampp (Apache) is running. For example, Xampp is running on PC xxx which has LAN IP 192.168.10.111 (for example). You cannot LISTEN to 192.168.10.10, when 192.168.10.10 is a different PC / Server. The IP 192.168.10.10 also must be assigned to PC xxx (where Xampp is running).

Therefore (in your case) as well 192.168.10.10 and 192.168.98.10 have to be assigned to your Xampp PC. This is not very common for a standard server, as these IPs belong to different SubNets. Usually Gateways are configured to access different SubNets. I have the slight feeling, that you are trying to do something, what cannot be done, but maybe I am wrong, therefore i need a better explanation of your problem.

@ Nobie

Thank you for your reply... Let me try explain in more detail
We use a network for kids at the school to access an intranet type setup...or portal
Due to security concerns the principal does not want learners to have free access to the internet.
The staff however also use the WIFI network and may have access to browse the internet.
Our tech guys set up a windows server 2012. We also have a Sonic Firewall for security purposes
We set up Xampp on the windows server and copied our front end and learning LMS into the htdocs folder.

The staff are on IP address 192.168.10.10 this has been configured to allow internet access
The staff have a unique password to join the WIFI which then validate them.

The learners are on a different subnet but on the same server... We have two NIC's installed on the server.
their address is 192.168.98.10
This has no internet connection

Development and frontend:
I have a LMS (Learner Management System) this has various SQL and PHP databases which refer back to the 10.10 subnet

If staff login to the network 192.168.10.10 all works fine because this is the address I used to install the portal system, however when the learners logon they are can see the front end but the LMS looks for the 10.10 subnet but they are on 98.10 subnet.

I have seen it done before and we had it working on a Linux box... but we decided to go with windows....

Please any suggestions will be greatly appreciated... The entire portal system is down...
