Running XAMPP on WIN10 but cant access localhost

Postby 3fas » 17. October 2016 10:05

I have installed and running WAMPP on a WIN10 but cant access the localhost page. I have tried 127.0.0.1 and different combinations with the port adress but nothing works. I have configured the server to run on ports 8010 and 8011 and the XAMPP control panel shows that the server is up and running.
I have also turned off the "World Wide Web Publishing" service.
How do I access the localhost page?

What exactly do you enter into the browser, what exactly does happen? And what is WAMPP?

How did you configure that, which configuration did you change? And did you restart Apache after? And why did you change the Ports?

This is a message from Apache running on localhost - so you can access localhost very well.
