Hi folks, I was recently asked to sync some database from a really "old machine", for this purpose I'm looking to reduce mysql.exe memory footprint @ minimal levels ..
Here's its current configuration, I've tried every variable but I can't lower it below 158Mo .. ( basic my-small.ini performs at 325M ) .. isn't there some configuration tool which might help me from reaching this goal ?

Thanks for any clue, note, enlightment, help
Regards, Ben

What about simply put some more RAM into the Machine? If you need SDRAM, i can send you 8GB (4 x 2GB), i dont need it anymore. Or watch out on ebay for some old RAM, it costs a few bucks. Even a new mainboard + cpu + 4GB RAM is available for less than 100$ - how much costs only one day of manpower instead?
