How to run the uninstall file?
The file is associated with notepad in my computer.
Which program should run this file?

I installed xampp but then it was necessary anymore for me. I just want to uninstall it.

Thanks a lot

Press the Windows+X buttons together and select Programs and Features. See if you can locate XAMPP and then you should be able to uninstall from there. If you don't see it there, you should be able to just delete the entire folder and all the associated shortcuts. I'm pretty sure the installer doesn't write any registry settings or windows system files.

Yez, xampp does not appear in the list of installed programs.
Well... i'll proceed then to erase the folder.

Thank you!!

Ok.

I tried to delete xampp folder, but there is a message saying that there is some file or folder being used by other program.
I went to task manager and closed two xampps instances, but it did not solve the question.
I opned xamp control as administrator, i then stoped sql... but it also did not solve the question.

Still i am not able to delete xampp folder.

:(

did you register any windows services to autostart these xampp apps? Then you need to stop and uninstall them first.
They show as green ticks if you started your xampp control panel as Administrator

Hello!
I don't know. I just installed and never used.

This is how xamp control appears to me:
