Php doesn't work

Postby NewCoder » 12. September 2016 17:56

Hello,
Localhost doesn't work. I just installed Apache and MySQL. The XAMPP control panel v3.2.2 shows them running. When I type in localhost in Google Chrome I do not get the splash screen.

What should I do?

Thank you in advance for help

Hi,

What does that mean? "Doesn't work" is not an helpful error reporting.
Explain as detailed as possible what you do, expect and get.

There is no longer a splash screen integrated since a couple of versions now (nearly a year now).

Hi Altrea,
When I go to Google Chrome and type in localhost I get the IIS7 page.

If this is true, then your explaination is not precise.
Either you have changed the Apache ports or Apache is not started.
It is impossible that Apache and IIS are running simultaneously using the same port 80.
