Mysql Won't Start

Postby Coastalguy » 03. July 2016 21:33

Can anyone advise why my Mysql will not start, based on the error logs below? I have just done a clean install of Windows 10, which left Xampp intact after the Windows install, however using the Xampp Control Panel 3.0.2, Apache starts ok, but when clicking on Mysql, the pid appears and disappears, stopping the mysql process.

I am using the same database files as I am on my other PC where both Apache and Mysql run fine. The log entries for the PC where mysql runs ok, is under those below.

Mysql will not run:
