I have an installation of xampp with a Wordpress installed in a folder in htdocs named Wordpress. Trying to access that folder now and get into wp-admin panel. It worked before on Win 7. I have updated to Win10.

I am using the path of http://localhost/xampp/htdocs/Wordpress/wp-admin/ says Object not found. By backing out the address to: http://localhost/xampp/ I get the the Xampp (Xampp 1.7.7) for Windows screen and I can get into phpMyAdmin and access that. Everything looks good there. It is installed on Port 80 and I have IIS turned off. As I remember in installing I never could get it installed on another port in the original installation.

What am I missing? :?:

I definately wonder, how could you install WordPress successfully, if you even do not know the correct URL?? You cannot execute wp-admin whithout previously installing WordPress (i.e. creating Databases, Tables etc.).

I guess I didn't make myself clear. I installed this installation, 3 year ago, when I was on Win 7. I've updated to Win 10.

http://localhost/Wordpress/wp-admin/ doesn't work. I get "Problem loading page" I'm wondering through. I've got a Dreamweaver intallation set up and it may the cause of this. I'll have to look into that. Thanks.

I have never seen such an error in my whole life - could you show us a screen shot?
