Apache start problem (with error log!)

Hi,

I'm having a problem starting Apache. I get the same message a lot of people do:

13:32:49 [Apache] Error: Apache shutdown unexpectedly.
13:32:49 [Apache] This may be due to a blocked port, missing dependencies,
13:32:49 [Apache] improper privileges, a crash, or a shutdown by another method.

13:32:49 [Apache] the Windows Event Viewer for more clues
13:32:49 [Apache] If you need more help, copy and post this
13:32:49 [Apache] entire log window on the forums

I checked the Q%A on this forum, but it doesn't help me. My Apache error log looks like this:

I am not skilled enough to figure out the problem from this

If I edit httpd.conf and change

Code: Select all

Listen 80

to

Code: Select all

Listen 81

then it works fine, but I'd rather have it work normally than having to always type localhost:81 or deal with the other side effects of changing the port.

I use Windows 10 Home Edition if that makes any difference.

Can anyone help?
