Looking for Xampp change log

I apologize in advance for having to ask a question that could only come from a bonehead beginner.

Where can I find which version of Xampp is the last one that will run on WIndows XP?

Can you tell me where to find a change log that shows the changes in system requirements for Xampp?

Since the forum search for this message board is handicapped, is there a site name I can use with Google to search in the "Xampp for Windows" forum?

Answers to these questions should allow me to find answers for these kind of questions myself in the future.
Many thanks,
Lloyd

Hi,

The last XAMPP version running on Windows XP was XAMPP 1.8.2

I'm sorry to say that there is none.

What do you mean with "handicapped"? Do you get any error messages?
Related to google search, yes you can specify the url you want to serach in, but this does only work for the URL very well, not it's parameters, sike so:
https://www.google.de/?q=site:community ... XP%22+2016

best wishes,

Altrea,
That solves my problems.

My frustration with the message board search is that it ignores some parameters, including character strings that are less than three characters. Searching for just "xp" alone is a reliable way to find all occurrences of variations on the names for Window XP, since the characters "xp" are rarely used otherwise.

Thanks very much!
Lloyd

Thats correct, but in your case you can search for "Windows XP" (including the double quotes) :)
