Help with Mercury and SSL Certs

Hi there!

I have set everything up and i have a working website and mail server. However the connection to the mail server isn't encrypted. Am i right in thinking i need to setup SSL Certs for the server. I did this under all the config but when i then log into the mail client it claims the email address or password is incorrect.

I would use a hand on its setup, I think im almost there.

Where do I store the SSL Certs? on the server? on the web server? what should they be called? where should they be stored?

please help
