Hi,

I recently have installed XAMPP but I am having some problems. The MYSQl isn't working. When I try to get to the localhost/phpmyadmin it says "# 2002 -
The server is not responding (or local socket to the MySQL server is not configured correctly).
The connection to controluser, as defined in your configuration failed."
Any idea to fix this problem a few days ago it was working!
It's an emergency.

Service Apache and MySQL says started... but can't login to phpmyadmin and no database connection...

I am having same issue also. I have Googled on how to try and fix issue but nothing out there is working for this fix, even some videos say for XAMPP but when loading it shows them using a different program WAMPP.

" #2002 - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

The server is not responding (or the local server's socket is not correctly configured)."

Is there a moderator or anyone else who know how to help us fix these issues that has happened. I have searched searched & searched and cant find the correct fix
