Disable FileZilla & Mecury

How can I disable FileZilla and Mercury permanently so that the red warning messages in the log do not show up any more?

I am using XAMPP Version: 5.6.8 and Control Panel Version: 3.2.1.

Edit and recompile the control panel code.

I thought there is some kind of .ini file with settings that could be tuned to get rid of this logging.

Also, for a strange reason I never saw these logs appear until recently when I moved the portable folder.

So why do they suddenly appear when they have not been shown before?

Is it possible to simply disable a module instead of editing and recompiling the control panel code?
