VERY Slow

HI, I have built this Apache server.
Put up a webshop and just sorted out some of the PHP issues with config.php pointing to /localhost in stead of www.servertest.dk
however the server is still very very slow.
I have asked opencart for assistance, so I can uninstall everything and rebuild without losing the database.
But then I was thinking, before I bought a licence for mercury I was going to use CG pro as my mail server. installing these services messed things up.
Is there a simple fix, or would I be best to reinstall Xampp from the top/

Honestly - I have no idea. What is CG pro? What is opencart? Some kind of scripts, yes, but I dont have any idea about these and about performance issues. This is the Xampp for Windows Forum. Neither opencart nor CG pro.
