XAMP on desktop machine but want to run on laptop

Hi guys,

Just a quick question. A friend wants me to create a website for him. I have set up the wordpress info on my desktop machine but I want to show him the progress on my laptop. Using xamp?

How would I go about doing this please?

Install Xampp, install WordPress, show the result. Or am i overlooking something??
