Localhost wont load server on xampp windows 10

I installed xampp yesterday the latest version 7.0.1.
When i type localhost or 127.0.0.1 in any browser nothing loads and in some browsers I get the http 404 error. I have tried everywhere to fix this but no help at all. I am running windows 10 operating system.
If anyone can help me fix this problem I would be extremely grateful.
