Basic Assistance Needed for Apache

I've been beating my head against the wall with Apache. I have read over all the links here, and I would like to ask for help. I know that providing the error log information is paramount to getting assistance, but I seem to have no log files.

I am receiving the error:
8:46:17 PM [Apache] Attempting to start Apache app...
8:46:18 PM [Apache] Status change detected: running
8:46:21 PM [Apache] Status change detected: stopped
8:46:21 PM [Apache] Error: Apache shutdown unexpectedly.
8:46:21 PM [Apache] This may be due to a blocked port, missing dependencies,
8:46:21 PM [Apache] improper privileges, a crash, or a shutdown by another method.
8:46:21 PM [Apache] Press the Logs button to view error logs and check
8:46:21 PM [Apache] the Windows Event Viewer for more clues
8:46:21 PM [Apache] If you need more help, copy and post this
8:46:21 PM [Apache] entire log window on the forums

When I click the LOGS button for the Apache process and attempt to access any of them, all I get are blank files. Is there some way to turn the logging on so that I can get the information and get it to this thread for assistance? I would really appreciate any help that can be given.

You have read over all the links here...

So where is the full control panel log?
Where is the apache_start.bat response?

There is much more information you can provide even when the Apache logs are not present.

I recommend to read all the links again, but this time more carefully.
