eregi_replace in xampp for php 7 installation

Installation php script of xampp php 7 uses removed in php 7 function eregi_replace
So it cant be installed...
Please fix this

You are right. https://community.apachefriends.org/f/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=72590 deals with this problem as well. Currently only the workaround to manually fix the failing install.php file is available.

Note that I have not tested this workaround myself - it possibly does not solve all errors in that script.

I have developped AND tested it and it solves ALL errors in that script. Why do you post so negative trash, instead of testing solutions?
