Newbee Can't Get Up

Postby Player » 29. November 2015 03:19

I am trying to get the program running as I am starting to learn how to do Wordpress websites through a course. I am loading the XAMPP and getting some errors. The answers are probably here, but could someone take pity on me and help me get going? Thanks. Here are the errors that show up when running XAMPP for the first time:

Newbee, I think I'm in the same class as you and I got the same error messages when I tried to open Apache. I didn't see a response to your original post, but evidently you must have figured out the solutions based on your third post. Would you please tell me what the solutions are? Thanks!!

Oh, I just read the Nov. 25 post "Apache won't start. ~SOLVED~" and found the answer--I needed to uninstall Skype which was using the port Apache normally uses.
