Apache shutdown unexpectedly

Hi,

My XAMPP setup worked flawless until a Windows Update that came through.
Now everytime I start my Apache server, I get the following error:

If I run apache_start.bat:

I tried removing the httpd.pid, but no avail.

My MySQL and FileZilla services are running fine.

Anyone that can help?

With kind regards,

Hi Zeagle,

Did you start your XAMPP control panel with elevated administration rights (rightclick -> run as Administrator)?
Please show us the full contents of your control panel log window. There can be much more helpful information than just the Apache related.
Did you take a look into your Windows event log for information why Apache don't want to start?
Did you try to unregister the Windows Service for your Apache and start it without this service?

best wishes,
Altrea
