Errors in localhost/security

Postby hanxue » 22. October 2015 07:17

After installing XAMPP, accessing http://localhost/security causes a lot of errors

The errors come from the missing file lang.tmp

Code: Select all
<?php include "lang/".file_get_contents("lang.tmp").".php"; ?>

I don't find this file in any of the directories in the XAMPP root folder.

How do I fix this, as well as the other error messages that appear?

Thanks for the answer.

I am surprised to find that packaged PHP applications are not working. The control panel itself seemed to be last updated in May 2013.

Will the development team consider open sourcing XAMPP so that other contributors can help keep the code base up to date, as well as encourage more use of XAMPP?

Xampp is already Open Source. Take a look into your src folder

The package PhpMyAdmin is working very well. see http://localhost/phpmyadmin

The security folder is not packaged by intention, Bitnami simply overlooked to delete that folder.
