Has the index page changed?

Its been a while since I've worked with xampp so I'm not sure. I keep getting this page when I do the localhost address. It seems rather worthless and I'm not sure what to do next.

Sorry, could only figure out a screen shot to show you.

It always has been rather worthless, but they changed it now. The standard Apache index page is even more worthless, it only says "it works".

The idea of Xampp is not to show up any nice and rich index.php, but to provide a full featured Webserver environment for your own projects. Put your files and scripts into the htdocs folder and run them via localhost in your browser.

Thanks, I just remember an orange and white page with links on it to do different things and settings. Its been a while so it seems there's going to be another learning curve ahead of me. Have a good one!

The only usefull link was the link to phpmyadmin, what is still included in Xampp via http://localhost/phpmyadmin. Everything else was useless. "Viel Lärm um nichts" as we say in Germany (try to translate via Google).
