APACHE No-start

Installation and operation has been disastrous. Tried several times to install and run and continually get the Port 80/PID 4 error in Apache Control Panel. Have completely removed Skype from system and rebooted (cold start). Completely removed XAMPP and rebooted with essentially same message. Am not a Windows Tech and really don't want to fool around with changing things without exact instructions which do not seem to be provided in this forum. Below are screen shots/copied text from Control Panel. What to do?

Control Panel info:
XAMPP Control Panel v3.2.1
Red X for Apache, no PID or Port, Clicking Start regurgitates the 'error message': Apache shutdown unexpectedly, etc, etc.
Green Check for MySQO, no PID or Port
Red X for File Zilla
No Check for Mercury
Red X for Tomcat

Apologies for lack of understanding! Unregister = Uninstall in Control Panel? Then reinstall to use it?

You can unregister it the same way you registered it, so either in the control panel or the command line. Both works.
Before reregistering the service i would try to start the component without service first.
