Win10 XAMPP Problem!!

I just installed xampp after clean installing my Windows 10.

I'm running on Windows 10. I just cleaned installed it.
I cannot open localhost/xampp, localhost/security, localhost/xampp/splash.php << NOT FOUND
says its empty.
when I open localhost it redirect to localhost/dashboard. can't do nothing here
I reinstalled it twice still the same.
I can't open the welcome page that xampp usually first display when you open localhost.
but I can open localhost/phpmyadmin

or how do I reset xampp from default?
I dunno why my xampp folder IN htdocs folder is empty..
I checked my other laptop it HAS FILES AND FOLDER IN IT!!!! so why does mine doesn't have files and folder in it..
the installation didn't give me errors.
is it because XAMPP isn't compatible with Windows 10? I've downloaded both 5.5.27 and 5.6.11 installers WITH THE SAME OUTPUT.

It seems to be an issue with this Xampp version itself.
I'm on a fresh installation of the latest xampp on windows10 and it's like you described, but I've seen threads of other users unable to access the security page also.
If you take a look at the php includes of the page you'll see there is something wrong with the language function used on the splash screen links (probably pending bugs between versions).

Anyway, the security configuration is fairly easy using the shell.

Thank you for replying. glad to know I'm not the only one..I thought I was the only having the problem.
