I am still using the portable version xampp-portable-win32-5.6.8-0-VC11 until I feel comfortable with it.

I have and existing virtual host file and am wondering where to copy its contents for the portable XAMPP install.

Here

D:\xampp\apache\conf\extra

or here

D:\xampp\apache\conf\original\extra

?

https://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/vhosts/ does not seem to mention the exact location or does it? If so where on the Apache manual can I find this info?

OK. I figured it out.

The default location is \xampp\apache\conf\extra.
