I upgraded my win 8 to windows 10, since then I had problem with xampp. I changed port number to 8080 but problem didn't solve.I re-install xampp several times, but after every installations , it only says xampp installation was successful , but problem is, I can't access to xampp main page to set up password for my sql and configure the security. I did whatever said in xampp installation instructure, but not luck. Would please someone to help me to solve this problem. Thanks in advance.

Which exact Windows 10 version are you using? Is it the final one? There were issues with some of the previews, but it should be solved in the final one

I'm having the exact same problem using Windows 10 32 bits, and yes, it's the final version. I tried everything (just like you, sam1357) but nothing worked.
I already tried with xampp 5.6.11 and now I'm running xampp 5.5.27 but when I type 127.0.0.1 it shows me http://127.0.0.1/dashboard with the 'Welcome to XAMPP for Windows...' message. Nothing else.

If I type http://127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin or http://127.0.0.1/security/xamppsecurity.php, it works. But I can't see the main menu with all the options as I used to before. What a bummer!

The useless "main menu" has been removed, the documenation is outdated and must be adapted to that.

But then if I want to access to phpmyadmin or the security options for example, should I keep in my mind all those directory paths or add them as a favorite in my explorer? In my opinion, I think it was helpful to have a menu with direct links for each option. But, well...
