I am new to PHP and mysql and new user of XAMPP which I get on a CD inserted in a book I am study.

After installation on my 64 bit hp laptop, the control panel differs from illustrated in the book which is control panel v 3.0.2 . How can I upgrade the control panel.

Also tried to test in installation by using this link ( http://localhost/xampp/xampp.php ) which was provided in the book. Below is the error massage i have on my screen

You cannot upgrade single components. Why dont you simply download the newest Xampp version?

This is a big error in your book. Simply enter http://localhost
