Still OMG,
Sourceforge's new policy of taking over projects, and re-bundling the projects installers inside a shell installer that pushes crapware (malicious or not) is quite troubling. It started with GIMP for Windows, now nmap, is Xampp next on the list?
You cannot trust, strike that, should not trust Sourceforge to do any due diligence on the crap they are pushing, Like Lenovo's lack of due diligence when it came to the SuperFish that it was preinstalling on it's products. Lenovo's been slapped with a
lawsuit over that brilliant move. Sourceforge should rethink this new policy, CNet as well since they've been doing this for years now.
