Hi,

I have an external hard drive that is connect to my NAS adapter to my router allowing my files shared over my network as I work from multiple computers in my house. Can I install xampp on the external hard drive allowing me to work on and save my WordPress sites from either computer. For example I work on one, I save my work and then i work on my other computer continuing from where I saved?

Read through this and see if its something similar. Look for the word router as it looks to be what you are trying to do.
