More than 1 site on localhost...

Hello.

Please give me a link for some tutorial of how to install a few sites on XAMPP correct
The most of all i'm interested in folder structure that's need to be setted up right
Do I need to tune virtual hots or my Joomla sites will work fine even without it?
I'm going to create a subfolder for each of my sites in c:/xampp/htdocs and unpack distributives right in there. Do I need to create a 'www' subfolder in each of subfolders i'm going to create and unpack distributives there?

You can install several independend webapplications each in its own subfolder of htdocs without defining virtual hosts.
e.g.

C:\xampp\htdocs\joomla\ => http://localhost/joomla/
C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\ => http://localhost/wordpress/
C:\xampp\htdocs\prestashop\ => http://localhost/prestashop/
