I love Xampp BUT not Bitnami!

does there exist an xampp windows installer that was not created by Bitnami? I downloaded and installed Xampp with Bitnami and have spent all day downloading PHP frameworks one after another and I keep getting errors of missing files and misconfiguration. Phpmyadmin won't let me create tables in my databases, unless I use SQL. I even tried Ruby and Rails. One of the biggest problems was with Sqlite. The php.ini was correct by default but the dll simply isn't there.

In short I'm pulling my hair out over this. I have used Xampp from Apache Friends before Bitnami with no problems. BTW I am running Win8.1 64 bit

No.

But there exists non installer versions of XAMPP http://sourceforge.net/projects/xampp/f ... ows/5.6.3/
Give it a try.
