I received this message BELOW in the Control Panel v3.2.1 How do i set administrator rights in xampp ?

You are not running with administrator rights! This will work for
most application stuff but whenever you do something with services
there will be a security dialogue or things will break! So think
about running this application with administrator rights!

I have just noticed that the control panel advises that I have administrator rights, after I have done the right click as you sugested. but when I close the control panel and open it again It advises me that I need administrator rights again ?

I this a thing with xampp that before opening the control panel you must click the icon to select administrator rights ?

in the file kompatibility properties you can choose the application to get run as administrator EVERY time.
The control panel can be run without these priviledges, but some functions will not be availlable like starting/stopping/setting windows services.
