Grant privileges for root user

I have by mistakenly revoke all privileges of root user. I can not grant it again event i am not able to create new user for system.Please suggest mi solution.

I have tried this also but its not allowing to do that giving access denied error.

Are you really sure you have started MySQL with the skip-grant-tables flag?

skip-grant-tables is not working in mysql.
