How to add FileZillaFTP to the XAMPP console?

I downloaded the 5.6.3 installer for window. When I click on the file, the installation never got started. I read in another posting that I can install using the zip or 7-zip file. I downloaded that and unzip the file. There is no installation required and the XAMPP console shows I have the Apache and MySQL installed. I was able to start these two services but the FileZilla option is grayed. I then proceed to download the FileZillaServer and installed in the c:\XAMPP\FileZillaFTP directory. The FileZilla option is still greyed out but I can manually start the FileZilla server. How can I add that service to the console?

Why use fileZilla. Its a very poor ftp program. I use cute ftp as when I edit a file, It give me line numbers. Makes it easier to find an error as the error gives the name of the file and line number is on.

This is your opinion only. FileZilla is a very common and widely used brilliant FTP Server.

FTP is the file transfer protocol, which as the name already says provides an protocol to transfer files from one place to another. There is no need for it to provide any file edit functionality and therefore no display any line numbers.

@y2kats65:
I cannot reproduce your issue. if i extract a fresh version of XAMPP 5.6.3-0 from the zip i am able (if i started the control panel with enhanced administrator rights) to register FileZilla Services if i want to.
Please describe which zip file you were using, what actions you have done to start it, which output you got from the control panel (full log), etc.
=> [FGA] Insufficient debug information

Be sure i have more than enough programming and server administration experience.

But maybe you need some helpful information to read, like:
feel free to show me where online file editing or build in html editor is specified.

You are talking about CuteFTP Client, this thread here is talking about the ftp server component.
The CuteFTP Client has a build in HTML editor but that does not mean online file editing is specified in the FTP standard.
Ever tried to open a remote file from a server via cuteftps build in editor? The file will get transfered temporary to your local computer, then you can edit it and after saving it gets transfered back to the server. The only actions FTP is involved are the two transmissions, nothing more.

:lol: You made my day.
You did not report my person, you have reported a posting. And this report is ready to get processed by any forum moderator, so in my very own moderator control panel.
If you really want to report me as a moderator because you think i am incompetence or something else please feel free to contact the current project manager of XAMPP Beltran Rueda directly (User Profile) or by email beltran(at)apachefriends(dot)org
