Xampp (Send Mail settings help)

Postby thestudent » 19. February 2015 14:56

Hello

I have been doing lot of research on google, stackoverflow and youtube, on how to set up XAMPP to use it for sending mail. However NONE of the options that are out there worked. I am wondering if there is a link or a valid tutorial that will show how to set it up so that I can send mail in development and test things out.

Thanks

Sorry, but i dont believe that. When i enter "xampp mail" in Google, already the first hit provides excellent help with several different WORKING options:

Of course, sending emails requires some knowledge and is a sophisticated task. Anyway, the examples and the different solutions of the above link (only one of many many thousands!) are working perfectly.

@Nobbie, you saying I don't believe it makes you arrogant and rude. I even have a Murach's PHP/MySQL book in front of me looking at the set-up, so something else must be wrong. But arrogant/useless comments are great, I have read thousands of those as well (so whats one more).

Ok, I wish you good luck.

P.S.: Setting up a working Email Server IS NOT a question of PHP and neither MySQL. You are reading the wrong book.
