I deleted a user file in localhost phpmyadmin, thought would be a good idea to uninstall and re-install xampp to correct my problem, however once re-installed and tried running apache then these following error messages occur.
Note: I did try editing the following with no luck also:
config Apache (httpd:conf) - Listen 80 to 8080 & ServerName : localhost:80 to 8080
C:\xampp\apache\conf\extra (httpd-ssl.conf) - Listen 443 to 4499 & VirtualHost default:443 to 4499 & ServerName www.example.com:443 to 4499

I know its all really fun but any help would be more than appreciated. Once more question tho, could I just uninstall and try again, this I have tried however failed as now when uninstalling xampp I get this message:
"There has been an error. The uninstall.dat file cannot be found and is required to uninstall the application, aborting"
Any ideas how to uninstall xampp if the above problem can not be fixed, maybe the second time round re-installing xampp will be more successful.
