hi,

i got this message when starting some links on localhost/xampp: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in C:\XAMPP\htdocs\xampp\cds.php on line 78.

somewho knows how to resolve this problem?

I tried to do changes on the my.cnf documents but it is not working, i change the password to "", null, blank space.

anywhay, i really have 2 mysql programs (one provided by the xampp and other downloaded), anywhay the problem cant be the port, because this i really have changed too, and the 2 servers works done.

You changed passwords, you changed ports...
But What did you change wehre? Which File and which Setting?

What did you Do to tell The Script The correct Port and password?
