I am new to 'apachefriends' and this forum. I would like to install a Windows XAMPP localhost dev. server on my PC. I have a x64 bit O/S but there appears to be no installation option for this!. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. :?:

You can install the x86 XAMPP version.
I use multiple x86 Versions on my Win7 x64 OS without any problems

Hi Alrea. How and where can I get the installation for W7 64Bit. I was given Apachefriends.org by Robin Nixon.

There is NO 64 Bit Installation. Instead Download Windows 32bit Xampp:

Thanks for that Nobbie. Is there anything extra I need to do for a W7 64bit PC?

I cannot answer such extremely global questions, Xampp is a software package with an installer and you may simply install it. I dont know your PC and what you have installed and running already what may collide with Xampp, there is only one way to find it out: simply install it.
