Apache Php installation

I have downloaded xampp then extracted file using winzip.After that I clicked on installation icon.This installation process continued for more than 1 hour and it was stucked at the last lilttle bar for 2 hours so finally I cancelled it. Later on when I turned on laptop again I could not find installation file .Though I can see the extracted files folder but I am not understanding which file is to be run for installation.
Can anyone tell me how to do the installation of PHP?
Also I am new to this forum. I tried attaching pics of folder here but its not working.
